NOB-Janagama District news: CI Janakiram Reddy along with SI Srujan Kumar held a press conference at Devaruppula Mandal Police Station and revealed the details. On 18.06.2025 morning, at 9:30 am, while patrolling from Dharawat Thanda to Dharmagadda Thanda under the Devaruppula police station limits, Sub-Inspector Srujan Kumar and his staff saw two suspicious looking people at Dharmagadda Thanda. He asked them why they were scared and asked what was in the cover they were carrying. They hesitated and told him that they had ganja. The SI immediately arrested them and asked for their details. Bhukya Naresh and Choudaboyan Suresh said that they belonged to Dharmagadda Thanda. They were interrogated and Bhukya Naresh said that while working in Hyderabad, his friends had given him cigarettes and that he had also gone to Dulpet and smoked ganja with them. When he returned to his hometown, he gave ganja to his friend Choudaboyan Suresh and they said that they were smoking ganja together. He also recovered two small packets of ganja worth Rs. 2,000 from them. When they took possession of the two plastic covers, they found two plastic zip covers inside. When they opened them, they found a mixture of dried buds and a strong smell. When asked what this substance was, they said it was dried marijuana. When the marijuana was weighed, it was found to be 20 grams.
