NOB-Dornakal news: Police stop boyfriend’s wedding after girlfriend’s complaint. Police stopped the groom’s wedding after receiving a complaint that the groom was already married, even though the wedding was scheduled for six hours later. The incident took place at 5 am on 13.08.2025 in Dornakal mandal center of Mahabubabad district. According to CI Bhukya Rajesh Nayak, Pachipala Mahesh of Dornakal mandal center and Chikurthi Mounika of Old Dornakal met groom when they were in the same school and village. The acquaintance gradually turned into love. Meanwhile, Mahesh has completed his studies and is staying at home and trying to find a job, while Mounika is working as a constable in the CRPF battalion in Bangalore. However, a month ago, Mahesh and Mounika got married in a traditional ceremony in Hyderabad without anyone knowing about it. Mahesh, who said he would tell the matter at home and take her with him, did not tell the matter to his family members. Moreover, he was ready for the marriage arranged by the elders with another girl. Knowing that Mahesh was marrying another girl on 13.08.2025, Mounika called the police from Bangalore in the early morning and sent them their wedding photos and videos via WhatsApp to stop the wedding. With this, in the early morning, she went to Mahesh’s house, stopped the wedding program and questioned him. The CI said that Mahesh admitted that the matter was true.
