NOB- Hyderabad news: Revenue, Housing and Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said that we have brought the Bhu Bharati ROR 2025 Act in a democratic manner by placing a draft bill in the Assembly and then taking the advice and suggestions of intellectuals and representatives of political parties and making it an example for the country, and in the same spirit, we are formulating the policies related to this act. The Minister for Civil Affairs Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced. With the aim of providing better and comprehensive revenue services to the public as soon as possible in line with the aspirations of the people of Telangana, the Land India Act was brought in line with the ideas of the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy after collecting opinions on a wide scale. He asked the officials to make the same effort to prepare the procedures related to this act as much as they had worked to formulate the Land India Act. He advised the officials to prepare the procedures strictly without leaving room for minor mistakes so as to provide a permanent solution to land disputes keeping in mind the future needs. Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy participated in the first day of a two-day workshop organized by the MCRHRD in Hyderabad on 18.02.2025 with collectors and other senior officials on formulating procedures related to the Land Act. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said, The adverse circumstances faced by the then government when it implemented the 2020 ROR Act without formulating any procedures are visible before our eyes. All the loopholes and shortcomings in the Dharani that the then rulers boasted about are there. Lakhs of farmers were left on the roads due to the 2020 ROR Act, which was implemented without formulating any regulations. Even after three years of the enactment of the Act, the then government has not formulated the rules. Instead of sitting in the Secretariat and framing the rules, we are taking the advice and suggestions of officials, intellectuals and experts on a wide scale and codifying everyone’s opinions and preparing the Land India Rules in a strict manner. We will prepare the rules related to the Land India Act as soon as possible and bring the Act into force. We are formulating the rules so that the existing problems are resolved without new problems and so that the farmers benefit and the officials do not have any room for mistakes. The new revenue law in Telangana is going to bring major changes in the land administration of Bhubharati. The main objective of this law is to protect land rights, bring transparency in land affairs, facilitate land transactions, and make revenue services accessible to the common man.This law will provide a permanent solution to the land problems of generations. In the future, we will continue to administer land more efficiently by using better policies and technology. This new law will not only provide land ownership rights but also bring self-respect and financial independence to their lives.
