
NOB-Hanumakonda news: SC Single Member Commission Dr. Justice Shamim Akhtar revealed that they will prepare a full report on the requests and petitions that came to their attention during the public inquiry conducted for the sub-categorization of SC castes and submit it to the government. In this context, they said that they are receiving petitions from various SC castes.An open inquiry was held under the Telangana State Scheduled Castes Inquiry Commission in the Warangal joint district limits on 19.12.2024 at the Hanumakonda Collectorate Mini Conference Hall for a detailed study on the sub-categorization of Scheduled Castes. The single-member commission Dr. Justice Shamim Akhtar received the applications given by various SC caste communities within the joint district on the classification.Speaking on this occasion, the single-member commission Dr. Justice Shamim Akhtar said that 135 petitions and requests were received from various scheduled SC caste communities. He said that the government has formed a commission to study the legal aspects, employment, social conditions and historical affairs related to SC classification. He said that the requests and petitions of caste communities from all parts of the state will be collected and a full report will be submitted to the government. Before the public hearing, Hanumakonda In-charge District Collector Dr. Satya Sharada Devi politely met the single-member commission Dr. Justice Shamim Akhtar. On this occasion, a flower plant was presented. Various issues were discussed. Later, Justice Dr. Shamim Akhtar was felicitated under the Social Welfare Department. Leaders and representatives of SC caste associations from Hanumakonda, Mahabubabad, Mulugu and Bhupalpalli districts of the Warangal joint district gathered in large numbers.
Visit to Subbayapally SC colony in Hasanparthi mandal
Single-member commission Justice Dr. Shamim Akhtar along with officials visited the SC colony in Subbayapally village of Hasanparthi mandal. On this occasion, he spoke to the SCs specifically. He inquired about the details of the provision of facilities and basic amenities. He found out if there were any problems. He advised the colony residents to bring any difficulties or problems to the attention of the authorities.
