NOB- Pune news: A recent study estimates that Indian Ocean surface temperatures are likely to increase by 1.4 to 3 degrees between 2020-2100. He warned that rains and storms will intensify. It is said that seasonal winds will shift and sea levels will rise. Meteorologist Roxy Mathew of IITM, Pune headed the study. The study stated that the effect of heat is up to 2000 meters deep in the ocean.
