NOB- Karnataka news: Shocking things are coming to light in the police investigation. Sensational things are coming out in the murder case of former Karnataka Director General of Police Om Prakash (68). Omprakash was brutally killed by his wife Pallavi. She poured chili powder in his eyes, tied his hands and feet and then stabbed him to death. The police said that several stab wounds were found on Omprakash’s chest and abdomen. Pallavi also attacked her husband with a glass bottle and brutally killed him, the police said. However, the police revealed that the former DGP’s wife Pallavi told the  another police officer about the murder. However, the police said that her daughter Kriti was also there when the attack took place. Both are being detained and questioned. The former DGP’s murder was led by a property dispute. Omprakash had given the property to a relative. The police say that a heated argument broke out between the husband and wife over this issue. It is said that the wife killed her husband after drawing a sketch. However, the police registered a case on the complaint of Omprakash’s son. The police said that the mother and daughter were detained and questioned for 12 hours. The police have recorded the statements of the mother and daughter on the murder of Omprakash. Pallavi said that he had been roaming around the house with a gun for a week, saying that they would kill her. There had been a fight at home since 20.04.2025 morning over this issue. She said that Omprakash had tried to kill her and her child in this context. Daughter Kriti says that they committed the murder only to save their lives. She confessed that she had tied her father’s hands and feet and poured black pepper and cooking oil on him. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the murder case in depth. Omprakash’s wife Pallavi and daughter Kriti are currently in police custody. A post-mortem will be conducted on Omprakash’s body on 21.04.2025.
