NOB- Suryapet news: Suryapet District SP Sunpreet Singh IPS revealed the details of the case at a media conference held at the District Police Office. The SP was accompanied by DSP Ravi, CI Rajasekhar, SI Balu Naik and staff.

Details of the accused:

A-1) Kotla Naveen, father Saidulu, Age: 24 years, Occupation: Agriculture, Residence: Pillamarri village, Mandal: Suryapet.

A-2) Bairu Mahesh S/o Srinu, V. 39 years, Occupation: Agriculture R/o Tallagadda, Suryapet Town

A-3) Kotla Saidulu father Biksham age: 43 years, Occupation: Agriculture, Residence: Pillamarri village, Mandal: Suryapet.

A-4) Kotla Vamsi, father Saidulu, age: 22 years, Occupation: Student, Residence: Pillamarri village, Mandal: Suryapet.

A-5) Kotla Buchamma, husband Late Biksham, age: 65 years, Occupation: Housewife, Residence: Pillamarri village, Mandal: Suryapet.

A-6) Tuvula Saicharan, age: 23 years, Occupation: Private Job, Residence: DVK Road, Nalgonda Town.

Details of the property:

A car, a knife, 5 cell phones, a plastic bag and a rope.

The murder took place on the evening of January 26^th 2025. On the complaint of the father of the murdered person, a murder case was registered at Suryapet Rural Police Station under crime number 30/2025, a case was registered under the SC/ST Atrocities Act, an investigation was conducted and 6 accused who were involved in the murder were arrested. The deceased Krishna had an inter-caste marriage. Counseling was given to both the families on this matter. He lives in Suryapet town. The girl’s family members had something in mind and they killed him according to a plan. Brothers Kotla Naveen, Vamsi and two friends Bairu Mahesh killed him along with her. In this, the girl’s brothers Kotla Naveen, Vamsi, father Saidulu, grandmother, friend Mahesh, Sai Charan were arrested. If there are any others involved, we will investigate and take action, the SP said. No one should indulge in such things, if they get married in love marriages or inter-caste marriages, they should come to the police, if anyone causes trouble, we will take action if they report it to the police, they will have to go to jail, the SP said.

Case details:

Krishna, who was murdered, was acquainted with Kotla Naveen of Pillaramarri village. Krishna often went to Naveen’s house for Naveen. In this process, Naveen’s younger sister Bhargavi and Krishna fell in love. Bhargavi’s family members did not accept their love. Vadlakonda Krishna @ Mala Bunty got married on 07/08/2024 without the knowledge of Bhargavi’s family members.  Mala Bunty used to talk to Vamsi’s friend Bairu Mahesh often. A1 Kotla Naveen, and his younger brother A4 Vamsi A2 Mahesh said Mala Bunty gained our trust us and married our younger sister, Bairu Mahesh was asked to kill Mala Bunty somehow and cooperate with them. Since Mahesh is always good to Mala Bunty, Navin and Vamsi told Mahesh that they should trust him and take him somewhere, Mahesh agreed and they all tried to kill Mala Bunty together. They planned to kill Bunty 3 times and failed. The deceased did not recognize these murder attempts. They bought a knife to kill him but did not use this knife during the murder. After the sketch failed three times, Mahesh, Naveen and Vamsi met at Mahesh’s farm and decided to kill him this time in any way. As part of their plan, on the morning of 26.01.2025, Naveen called Mahesh and asked him to come. The accused named Mahesh called Krishna, who was murdered, and told him to come. On the 26^th January 2025, at around 4.40 pm, Mahesh called Mala Bunty and told him to come. When Bunty said that he was coming, as per the plan, Mahesh immediately called Naveen and told him that we were coming and to be alert. When Bunty came to Mahesh’s house on his scooter, Mahesh got on Bunty’s scooter and bought drinks and food for the party and went out. While Mahesh drank alcohol, Krishna drank a cool drink. That evening, they sat there for about 3-4 hours. Mahesh went a little distance and called Naveen and told them to come as soon as possible. Bunty started the scooter saying let’s go home, Mahesh got on the back of the scooter and sat down. While Bunty was moving the scooter, Mahesh put his arm around Bunty’s neck and was choking him, Naveen and Vamsi, who were already hiding in the bushes, came running and Vamsi held Bunty’s legs, while Naveen also grabbed Bunty’s throat and choked him. After they confirmed that he had been beaten to death, Naveen brought his Ertiga car and put Bunty’s body in a big plastic bag that was already in the car, tied it with a rope and put it in the trunk behind the car. Naveen and Vamsi wanted to show Banti’s body to their grandmother Buchamma, who was at their relative’s house in Old Suryapet, and they took the body to their relative’s house in Old Suryapet and stopped in front of a house. Naveen went and brought their grandmother Buchamma and showed her the body. Naveen went to his friend Sai Charan in Nalgonda and asked him to show him the body, so they went to Nalgonda in the same car. They went to Charan’s house on Devarakonda Road, Naveen brought Charan to the car and showed him the body of Banti in Naveen’s car. Naveen told Sai Charan that he had killed Banti and brought the body back. Charan immediately got out of the car in fear and left. From there, on the same route as they had taken to return to Suryapet, they went to Old Suryapet, woke up Naveen’s grandmother, Kotla Buchamma, and Vamsi, and Vamsi took Bunty’s scooter and came from behind the car. They again closed the canal at the end of the canal on the outskirts of Pillaramari village and unloaded Bunty’s body from the car next to it. There, they took Bunty’s body out of the bag and put it there, and put the scooter next to the body. They put the unwrapped bag and the tied rope in the car and the three of them returned to Old Suryapet in the car. They threw the bag and rope in the SRSP canal near Balemla. From there, they went to Old Suryapet and slept at the house of their relative, where Kotla Buchamma was. Later, from there, Mahesh, Naveen and Vamsi went to Hyderabad in a car and stayed there on the night of the 28^th January 2025. While they were at Navin’s house in Pillamarri, the police came and arrested them on the morning of 29.01.2025.

Introduction of the accused:

A1 Kotla Navin, A2 Beer Mahesh are distant relatives and A6 Tuvula Sai Charan is a friend of A1 during his college days, A3 Vamsi is A1’s own younger brother, A4 Saidulu is A1’s father, A5 Buchamma is A1’s grandmother.

Past criminal history of the accused:

A-1) Kotla Naveen is an accused in four (4) old cases under Suryapet Rural PS

A-2) Bairu Mahesh is an accused in nine (9) old cases under Suryapet Town PS and has a rowdy sheet in Suryapet Town PS

A-3) Kotla Saidulu is an accused in one (1) old case under Suryapet Rural PS.

A-4) Kotla Vamsi, father Saidulu is an accused in three (3) old cases under Suryapet Rural PS.

A-5) Kotla Buchamma, husband Late Biksham is an accused in two (2) old cases under Suryapet Rural PS.

A-6) Tuvula Saicharan, father Chandramouli is an accused in one (1) old case under Nalgonda II Town. PS.

There are also 3 cases against Krishna, who was murdered.
