Local Tahsildar IP.Shetty suggested that the farmers will collect the sprouted grain due to the recent untimely rains. On 06.05.2023, he toured the surrounding areas of Alamuru mandal of Ambedkar Konaseema district along with Agriculture AO Lakshmi Lavanya and inspected the wet and sprouted grains on the field beds. He informed that the farmers should not be discouraged about the wet and sprouted grain, the sprouted grain will be collected through Rythu Bharosa Kendras and moved to a rice mill specially set up in Mandapet, compensation will be provided to every farmer who has lost, and the government will support the farmers in all ways. He said that grain should be moved to the centers. Land Reserve Deputy Tahsildar Janaki Raghava, Technical Assistant Incharge JE Kamath Ramachandra Rao, VROs, Field Assistants and Agriculture Department staff participated in this program.
