
In the month’s criminal review meeting on pending cases District SP Sarath Chandra Pawar directed the police officials to conduct transparent investigation through plan of action in the cases registered in the respective police stations in the district and to thoroughly examine and finalize every aspect from the registration of the case to the charge sheet. On 21.04.2023 in the conference hall of the Mahabubabad Town Police Station, the District SP held a monthly crime review meeting with the police officers.
In this review, the concerned officials were asked about the grave and non-grave cases in the pending (under investigation) cases. District SP explained about how investigation should be done in grave non-grave cases, what aspects should be checked and so on. He said that there should be quality investigation in every case, everything from the registration of the case to the charge sheet should be thoroughly investigated and finalized. He directed that the long pending cases should be disposed of quickly and progress should be made in the pending theft cases. He said that cutting-edge technology should be used in handling cases and increasing technology should be adopted. Concerned SIs are advised to monitor data entry in CCTNS daily. Non-bailable warrants were ordered to be executed quickly. He said that extensive awareness programs should be organized for the people in the villages through the police art team about the control of road accidents and cybercrimes. He said that continuous proactive patrolling with Blue Colts personnel should be conducted in urban and rural areas. It is suggested that the officers and staff should work continuously to provide better services to the people. The officers were directed to be friendly towards every complainant who comes to the police station, conduct a transparent investigation on every complaint and take immediate action as per the law.
