NOB- Suryapet news: On 23-05-2024 at 23.00 hrs Nandikonda Saidulu of Village Ramachandrapuram, Kattangur Mandal, Nalgonda District, his son Nandikonda Venkanna, Age: 26 years, working in Private House Loan Finance Office has complained that on 23-05-2024 at 08.00 in the morning, he went from Tekumatla to Suryapet and did not return home. Venkanna’s motorcycle was lying on the side of the road from Hyderabad to Vijayawada in the suburbs of Rainigudem village opposite Rajugari Thota. So, a missing case was registered at Suryapet Rural PS and an investigation was conducted after a complaint was made that sandals and hand kerchief were also there. As part of the investigation, three teams were immediately formed and the dog squad and the clue team were brought in to solve the mystery of the case.
Deceased Nandikonda Venkanna murdered his friend Bejawada Rajasekhar in 2022 over money matters. A case of murder has been registered in the Kattangur police station. Venkanna is on bail saying that his life is in danger with Bejawada Rajasekhar family members and hence is staying at his maternal grandmother’s house in Tekumatla village. Bejawada Ramesh’s father Lingaya , who is Rajasekhar’s own elder brother, along with another friend Khammampati Saidulu, came to know that Venkanna was staying in Tekumatla village and conspired to kill Venkanna. Since Rajasekhar was killed on 31-05-2022, Ramesh came to Tekumatla on his activa scooty every morning at 07.00 am from 21-05-2024, intending to commit murder in the month of ‘May’. On the date 23-05-2024, Bejawada Ramesh, who did not know how to kill Nandikonda Venkanna, asked Bejawada Janaiah, Boda Satish Kumar and Islavat Suresh, to cooperate with the Saidus to kill Nandikonda Venkanna, and they also agreed. On 23-05-2024 in the early hours Khammampati Saidulu’s with the vehicle Mahendra Supro TS-12-EC-6648 , Bejawada Ramesh, Khammampati Saidulu, Boda Satish Kumar, Islawat Suresh came to Tekumatla at 06.45 am and met Venkanna at Tekumatla cross road. At around 08.15 in the morning, Nandikonda Venkanna was coming to Suryapet on his motorcycle, following him from behind and when coming opposite Raju Gari’s garden, Saidulu pushed with Mahendra Supro from behind and Venkanna fell from the motorcycle on the side of the road. Then they forced Venkanna into the vehicle and took him to Mote village, tied a rope around Venkanna’s neck and dragged him to death. The first accused in this case, Bejawada Ramesh’s father Lingaiah, Rasul Goodem Village, Kattangur Mandal, Nalgonda District, was arrested on 26-05-2024 and sent to judicial remand. Suryapet D.S.P G.
