NOB-Suryapet news: Suryapet sub division DSP Ravi revealed the details of the case in a press conference organized at the district police office. As per the orders of District SP Rahul Hegde IPS, vehicle checks are been conducted every day, as part of this, on 24.02.2024 morning while checking vehicles at Paridi Jangam cross road of Suryapet town on National Highway 65, a suspicious goods vehicle was checked and electronic devices related to sound system were found in it. A person named Kurra Tulcha from Adividevulapalli mandal of Nalgonda district who was in the vehicle admitted that the goods were stolen. The DSP said that when a case was registered and interrogated, Darawat Balakrishna of Kodada, Barmawat Guru Charan and Ramawat Vamsi of Nalgonda district confessed to committing thefts. 25 lakh worth of electronic equipment related to sound systems from the accused 27- Amplifiers, 7 – Cross overs, 6 – mixers are said to be taken over. Accused A-1 Kurra Tulcha had earlier a case of bike theft in Sarur Nagar Police Station. A-2 Balakrishna, A-3 Guru Charana earlier Kodada Town PS it is said that there is a past criminal record as accused in the ganja case.
Accused Kurra Tulcha was unable to earn enough money from driving an auto in Hyderabad and along with his friends Balakrishna @Siddu and Guru Charan @Guru from Kodada stole DJ sound systems placed in front of DJ shops in function halls at night and sold them and enjoyed with money, they made an unexpected plan and left from the place where they hire cars for long drive in Dilshuk Nagar and from November 2024, they wandered at night in Macharla, Suryapet, Kodada, Chilukur, Chivvenla areas and held programs in function halls and in front of DJ shops. After doing this, they stole amplifiers, mixers, crossovers, etc. from the parked vehicles and hid them in one place when possible and intend to take them to other areas and sell them on 24.02.2024. When it was suspicious, it was stopped and checked and the person in it was interrogated. He confessed to the thefts in Macharla, Suryapeta, Kodada, Chilukur and Chivvenla and he was sent to remand.
Inspector G. Rajasekhar of Suryapet who worked well in this case, SI Y.K. Yakub, P. Lokesh, Balakrishna, and crime personnel Karunakar, Krishna, Saidulu, Anand, Madhu and IT Cell Sudhakar, Ravi were felicitated by Suryapet District SP Rahul Hegde and the SP announced rewards for the personnel who solved these cases. The accused Tulcha who was in the vehicle was arrested. The DSP said that three more absconding and accused will be nabbed.
