
NOB- Vikarabad news: As per the instructions of Vikarabad district superintendent of Police, Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, the Task Force team led by Inspector SK Anwar Pasha conducted raids within the limits of Pargi town. During these operations, four individuals involved in illegal storage of gas cylinders, sale of rotten meat, and preparation of ice creams in violation of regulations were taken into custody. In the first incident, based on credible information, police conducted a raid at the residence of Krishna (35), a resident of Vidyanagar Colony, Pargi, who was found to be illegally storing subsidized LPG cylinders. During the inspection, a total of 12 cylinders were seized, including 5 filled subsidized cylinders, 4 empty cylinders, and 3 filled commercial cylinders. In the second incident, Mohammed Khaleel (34), a resident of Vidyanagar Colony, Pargi, was found to have stored approximately 35 kilograms of rotten meat related to his mutton shop. The spoiled meat was seized. The SP directed that strict action be taken against such individuals who are endangering public health. Similarly, police conducted a raid on an ice cream manufacturing unit named Sri Nithya Ice Cream located on the main road in Pargi, which was operating without any permissions and using expired raw materials and industrial colors for production. Adulterated materials were seized from the unit operator Varkala Hanmanthu (45), a resident of Vikarabad. In another incident, K. Ramesh (42) of Siddhartha Colony was caught manufacturing ice creams under the name Maha Ice Cream at his residence without mentioning manufacturing and expiry dates. All the accused persons were handed over to Pargi Police Station for further legal action, and cases have been registered, the District SP Smt. Sneha Mehra stated. On this occasion, District SP Smt. Sneha Mehra, IPS, stated that “We will not tolerate any illegal activities that endanger public health under any circumstances. Preparing adulterated food products for profit, or selling expired or spoiled items, is a serious offence. Such actions pose a direct threat to public life.Illegal storage of gas cylinders is not only unlawful but also poses a high risk of fire accidents. Such negligence can endanger the safety of people living in nearby areas. Citizens are advised to immediately inform the police if they notice any suspicious activities in their surroundings. Keeping the summer season in view, authorities are maintaining strict vigilance over the quality of food products. Hotels, meat shops, and ice cream manufacturing units must strictly adhere to regulations. Strict action will be taken against those operating without licenses or violating norms.Task Force teams will continue to conduct regular inspections against such illegal activities. Strict action will be taken against violators. There will be no compromise when it comes to public health and safety,” the District SP emphasized.
