The Fisheries Development Organization was formed with 13 people, out of which two were officers, 11 were the Chairman and Vice Chairman, and the remaining 9 were appointed as directors and five of those directors were given to the Mudirajs and four to the Gangaputras. After these proposals were made, the name of the Fisheries Development Organization was changed and the Telangana Fisheries Cooperative Societies were appointed as the United Chairman and today, making allegations against the Congress party is like saying, “A thief is a thief.”

Legality of Fisheries Cooperative Societies.

District Fisheries Cooperative Societies shall be formed in accordance with the Cooperative Act and in accordance with the directive principles of the Cooperative Act. The formation of cooperative societies shall be in accordance with the Cooperative Act, 1964, the Telangana Amendment Act, 2016 and the Fisheries Department rules. In that meeting, the promoters shall be elected first and the Chief Promoter shall be elected from among them. The Chief Promoter shall be registered within 90 days of the selection of the promoters and the District Society shall be registered. If registration is not done within 90 days, it shall be invalid as per the law. After the formation of the District Fisheries Cooperative Society, if elections are not held within 180 days from the date of registration of the Society as per Section 31 U/S 8 of this Act, 1964, it shall be deemed to have been dissolved. Sangareddy district in the state has been registered for 477 days, Nizamabad district for 300 days, Warangal district for 365 days, Mahabubabad district for 330 days, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district for 300 days, Jangaon district for 305 days, Hanamkonda district for 300 days, Jagtial district for 345 days, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district for 315 days, Bhadradri Kothagudem district for 375 days, Mahabubnagar district for 321 days, Medak district for 321 days, Nirmal district for 306 days, Siddipet district for 280 days, Adilabad district for 280 days, Asifabad district for 250 days, Khammam district for 197 days and the government has been asked to take a decision to nominate these districts as per the law.
