NOB- New Delhi news: The opposition met for the second day on 18.07.2023 at the Taj West End Hotel in Bengaluru to discuss and formulate strategies on how to face the ruling BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

26 parties participated in this meeting. The respective parties including Congress are in power in eleven states. It seems that a name has also been given to the united alliance of opposition parties. The name I-N-D-I-A has been proposed for this party front and it is reported that all the parties have unanimously agreed.

The name Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance seems almost certain at this meeting. There are chances that the front leaders will announce this soon.

At the dinner meeting held on 18.07.2023 all the political parties were also suggested to suggest a name for the front. ON 19.07.2023 it seems that the names have been examined and discussed and a final decision has been reached. As part of this, the name I-N-D-I-A seems to have been finalized.

Congress Party National President Mallikarjuna Kharge, party leader Rahul Gandhi, NCP’s Sharad Pawar, Nitish Kumar, Hemant Soren, MK Stalin, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee, Lalu Prasad Yadav and others participated in the meeting on 19.07.2023. Sharad Pawar did not attend 18.07.2023 meeting. But attended 19.07.2023 meeting.
