NOB-Komaram Bhim news:  The successive deaths of tigers in Komuram Bhim district are disturbing. Officials found the dead body of another tiger in Kagaj Nagar forest area on 07.01.2024 evening. Five days ago, a tigress died in a fight between two tigers. Officials said that the second tiger was injured. However, the dead body of the second tiger was also found on 07.01.2024. When the second tiger was found with injuries, the officials examined the trap cameras and concluded that the two had fought. The dead body of the second tiger was also seen 08.01.2024 evening at some distance from the dead body of the first tiger.

A team of special tiger conservation officers and veterinary officers reached the spot and conducted an investigation. 2 tigers died within 3 days in the Darigam forest area. A big tiger died in a territorial fight. Another three-year-old tiger also died. PCCF Rakesh Dobrial, Chief Wildlife Warden visited the forest area of Paragvein. It is believed that two tigers are fighting for shelter. First a post route was conducted for the dead tiger and the samples were collected and sent to the lab for testing. Later, the dead tiger was buried as per NTCA rules.
