
NOB-Hyderabad news: Two new commissioners have been appointed in the Central Election Commission. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Jnanesh Kumar have been appointed as Central Election Commissioners.To this extent, the selection committee has taken up the selection process. While Election Commissioner Anup Chandra Pandey retired in the month of February 2024, it is known that Arun Goyal resigned from his post recently. President Draupadi Murmu also accepted Arun Kumar’s resignation, leaving two Election Commissioner posts vacant.Recently those positions have been replaced. The Lok Sabha elections are to be held in the country in a few days. Generally, the three-member commission panel for the Central Election Commission consists of the Chief Election Commissioner and two commissioners.
