NOB- Delhi news: The Union Cabinet has approved the Jamili elections. The Union Cabinet has approved the ‘One Nation One Election’ bill. Jamili elections mean elections across the country in a single phase,  that is, holding elections to the assemblies of various states in one phase along with the Lok Sabha elections. That is why the Center has brought this bill. A committee appointed by the government headed by former President of India Ramnath Kovind made several recommendations regarding this bill. Later, the Union Cabinet approved the bill. All that is left is for the bill to be approved by Parliament. If the bill gets the approval of Parliament, elections to the assemblies of various states and the Lok Sabha will be held simultaneously.
