The public auction of the vehicles in the possession of the police was conducted on 29.04.2023 under the chairmanship of Additional SP Jogula Chennaiah under the direction of District SP Sarath Chandra Pawar at Mahabubabad District Police Office. People and traders participated in this auction and it was successful. As informed earlier, the six months period has expired as per the government’s order for the unaccounted vehicles in the possession of the police. Therefore, 61 vehicles were auctioned on 29.04.2023 at the District Police Headquarters as no one responded. At the end of the auction, the buyers paid Rs.3,69,400/- and the vehicles were taken away. In this auction, additional SP along with D.C.R. B Inspector Balaji Varaprasad, SB Inspector Fanidhar, Town CI Satish, AR(MTO) Purnachander, members of auction committee, traders, police personnel and others participated.
