A high-level review meeting was held under the State Forest Minister Konda Surekha and Panchayat Raj Minister Seethakka to resolve the difficulties faced by the Forest Department in obtaining permissions for Panchayat, R&B and infrastructure related works in the joint Warangal and joint Adilabad districts. District Collector Advait Kumar Singh, Revenue Additional Collector K. Veerabrahamachari participated along with the concerned officials. Forest Department Principal Secretary Ahmed Nadeem, PCCF Dr. Suvarna. Collectors, MLAs, MLCs, CCFs, DFOs, ITDA officials from these two joint districts participated. Minister Seethakka, who participated in this meeting, said that Skyways, highways, and six-lane roads are coming up in cities like Hyderabad. Due to the forest sanctuary laws, even single roads are not coming up in some districts. How can areas develop without road facilities? If development is not allowed in forest areas and tribal areas, gaps will increase. Tribals will remain primitive humans. Due to the lack of roads, they are getting stuck in mud during the rainy season. He said that the Forest Department should cooperate in undertaking development programs in agency areas. We are not saying that forest laws should be violated. How can we protect wildlife if we do not allow roads to pose a threat to them? We can protect them by building special bridges for wildlife. We want the same rules to be implemented here as in other states, which are implementing development programs in forest areas. There are some relaxations in the forest sanctuary laws for the convenience of the people. Apply them and provide road facilities in areas like Mulugu, Adilabad, Bhadradri, Kothagudem. He said that a road facility should be provided to go from Kothaguda mandal in the district to Dubbathanda. State Forest and Endowments Minister Konda Surekha said that the officials should prepare reports with proposals related to the work within three days, and also give tenders related to the work, and if the period of one thousand tenders is completed, they should be given an opportunity for re-tenders. Collectorate Superintendent Madan Mohan and concerned forest officials participated in this video conference.
