NOB- Badhradri Kothagudem news: A person named Puttala Naresh S/o Ramulu (late), age: 33 years, profession: Painting, R/o Petacheruvu, Palvancha, under Palvancha Town Police Station limits, died on 11.02.2025. On the complaint of Puttala Chukkamma, the mother of the deceased, that there is suspicion about the death of this person, a case was registered on 17-02-2025, the body buried in the Petacheruvu cemetery was exhumed, a panchnama and postmortem were conducted and the case is being investigated. Based on the scientific evidence obtained, two persons involved in this case, Gaddala Sambasivarao S/o Narsayya, 37,occupation: carpenter R/o Uppaka village, Pinapaka mandal and his friend Tati Naresh S/o Chinni, 25 years old, occupation: coolie, R/o Suravidu Colony, Venkatapuram village, & mandal, Mulugu district were arrested and interrogated. When the deceased Puttala Naresh came to know that Gaddala Sambasiva Rao was having an illicit relationship with Puttala Rajitha, the wife of the deceased Puttala Naresh, the couple had fight. According to a plan, Sambashiva Rao and Rajitha together planned to murder Puttala Naresh. On 10/02/2025 when Naresh and Rajitha went to his relative’s house in Sarapaka, Gaddala Sambasiva Rao and his friend Tati Naresh, according to a pre-planned plan to Puttala Naresh a bottle of alcohol mixed with insecticide was given. Naresh was given such a bottle of liquor, and after returning home, Puttala Naresh fell ill due to drinking the same liquor and died on 11.02.2025. Apart from this, during the daily activities of Puttala Naresh, an old man from Petacheru, Bojja Venkateswarlu, drank the same liquor, and his health also deteriorated and he was treated in the hospital. Currently, Bojja Venkateswarlu has recovered and has been discharged from Khammam Health Hospital.
In this case, the three accused are
1) Gaddala Sambasiva Rao S/o Narsayya, 37, occupation: carpenter R/o Uppaka Village, Pinapaka.
2) Thati Naresh S/o Chinni, 25 years old, occupation: coolie, R/o Suravidu Colony, Venkatapuram Village, & Mandal, Mulugu District
3) Puttala Rajitha w/o Naresh, 32 years old, R/o Petacheruvu, has been arrested and sent for remand.
