NOB-Gadwal news: An incident similar to the ‘Meghalaya honeymoon murder’ that created a sensation across the country has come to light in Jogulamba Gadwal district of the state. A young woman who married a young man with tears in her eyes and convinced him that she loved him, got her husband murdered just a month after marriage. It seems that her relationship with a bank employee before marriage was the reason for this murder. The bank employee had the groom killed by giving supari to some people. The groom, who had disappeared in Gadwal five days ago, was found dead near Panyam in Andhra Pradesh in the early hours of 22.06.2025. The details given by the victim’s family members, locals and the police regarding this brutal incident are as follows. Tejeshwar (32) from Jogulamba Gadwal district is working as a private surveyor. Tejeshwar was engaged to Aishwarya from Kurnool in AP on February 13 ,2025 year. Aishwarya went missing five days before the wedding. Everyone thought that she was in a relationship with an employee of a prominent bank in Kurnool and that Aishwarya had gone to him. However, Aishwarya, who returned home on February 16th 2025, spoke to Tejeshwar on the phone. She said that she was not in love with anyone and that she had gone to her friend’s house after seeing the trouble her mother was going through to pay dowry. I love you very much she cried. With this, Tejeshwar believed Aishwarya and agreed to marry her. Despite his parents’ disapproval, he convinced them and married Aishwarya on May 18th 2025. Since Aishwarya was constantly talking on the phone, ignoring her husband, the two started having problems from the second day of their marriage. In this process, when Tejeshwar went missing on June 17th 2025, his brother filed a complaint with the police. Five days later, on 22.06.2025 morning, the police found Tejeshwar’s body in Sugalimetta Jammu, near Panyam in AP. Tejeshwar’s family members expressed suspicions about Aishwarya. When the police questioned Aishwarya and her mother Sujatha, shocking things came to light.
Aishwarya’s mother Sujatha works as a sweeper in a prominent bank in Kurnool. It is learnt that she was having an extramarital affair with an employee of the same bank. The employee is said to have gradually started an affair with Aishwarya. Police have found in the call data that Aishwarya spoke to the bank employee 2,000 times after marrying Tejeshwar. Police suspect that they decided to kill Tejeshwar, who was an obstacle to their relationship. It is learnt that the bank employee not only gave supari to some people to get Tejeshwar killed but also sent his driver with them. As per a pre-planned plan, some people met Tejeshwar on June 17th 2025. They took him away in a car to Gadwal, saying that they were buying a 10-acre plot of land and wanted to survey it. They attacked Tejeshwar with knives in the car, slit his throat and killed him and dumped his body at Sugalimettu near Panyam. It is also a matter of concern that Aishwarya’s mother Sujatha also assisted in the murder. The bank employee facing charges is currently absconding. Meanwhile, the police, who have already arrested Aishwarya and Sujatha, have reportedly detained some people associated with Tejeshwar’s murder in Kurnool district. Gadwal CI Tanguturi Srinu said that they have kept an eye on the suspects and the investigation is ongoing.
