NOB-Mahabubabad news: Police have cracked a sensational murder case in Kesamudram mandal of Mahabubabad district within 24 hours. The investigation revealed that a woman, hoping to get a home loan waiver and also to eliminate her husband who was an obstacle to her illicit affair, had him murdered with the help of her lover and another person. Bhukya Eeranna (45) died under suspicious circumstances on the outskirts of Bodamanchathanda village, under the Kesamudram police station limits. Although it was initially portrayed as a road accident, a thorough police investigation revealed it to be a clear case of murder. Police have arrested three accused in connection with this incident.
The details of the accused are as follows:
A1) Bodabaloji (45), Bodamanchathanda village – Involved in an illicit affair with the deceased’s wife
A2) Bhukya Vijaya (40) – Wife of the deceased Bhukya Eeranna
A3) Dharmarapu Bharat (28) – An RMP doctor from Rajanapalli village
According to Mahabubabad SDPO N. Tirupathi Rao, the deceased Bhukya Eeranna’s wife, Bhukya Vijaya, and Bodabaloji from the same village had been having an illicit affair for several years. Eeranna, who was suffering from financial difficulties, had sold some of his agricultural land to repay some debts, but still had outstanding loans. In this context, Bodabaloji, with the help of Dharmarapu Bharat, an RMP doctor who was renting a place from him, arranged a house loan for Eeranna from Muthoot Finance. Knowing that the loan would be waived if the borrower died accidentally, the accused conspired to murder Eeranna and make it look like an accident. According to their pre-planned scheme, on the night of December 22nd 2025, they called Eeranna to a palm oil plantation near the village, outside the tanda, under the pretext of drinking alcohol. After consuming alcohol there, Bodabaloji struck Eeranna forcefully on the back of his head with an iron rod. When he fell down, Dharmarapu Bharat smothered him by covering his nose and mouth with a towel, thus killing him. After the murder, to portray it as a road accident, they dumped the body along with his motorcycle in the field of Thumu Sai Dinesh, located beside the road leading to Beruwada, as identified by the police. Mahabubabad District SP Dr. P. Sabarish IPS congratulated Kesamudram CI Y. Satyanarayana, SIs K. Kranthi Kiran, P. Naresh (SI-II), and their staff for solving this case very quickly, within 24 hours. The police stated that this incident clearly demonstrates once again how illicit relationships and financial greed can lead to fatal crimes.
