NOB- Nagarkurnool news: According to the police, Kakunuri Nagaraju (35) of Uyyalawada was married to Surya a few years ago. They have two children. Nagaraj became an alcoholic for a few days and used to abuse his wife all the time. On 04.09.2024 night too, he attacked Nagaraju’s wife Surya under the influence of alcohol when everyone slept at home. On 05.09.2024 morning, the children woke up and tried to wake up their father, but he did not wake up. When asked the mother, she replied that she did not know. When the children told the surrounding people, they came and saw him dead. After informing the police, they reached the spot and collected the details. Suspecting Nagaraju’s wife Surya, she was deposed. She confessed that she tied a towel around him neck in the middle of the night because he was harassing her. Police said that a case was registered on the complaint of the deceased’s younger sister and Surya was arrested.
