NOB- Guntur news: The incident of a woman being raped on a running train has become a sensation. This horrific incident took place on a train coming from Guntur to Cherlapalli. An unidentified assailant threatened the woman with a knife and raped her during the journey. At the time of the incident, the train was travelling near Peddakurapadu railway station in Andhra Pradesh. The assailant, who stole the victim’s handbag, immediately got down at the station and fled. The shocked woman immediately filed a complaint with the GRP police as soon as she reached Cherlapalli. Passengers are expressing serious concern over this atrocity that took place on the train in dangerous conditions. The Secunderabad GRP police have formed special teams to search for the accused. Passengers are angry that such incidents are happening due to security lapses on the train. The railway police said that they will arrest the accused as soon as possible and take strict action.
