NOB-Kotagiri news: A youth committed suicide by consuming pesticide in Vallabhapur village of Kotagiri mandal of Nizamabad district. The incident took place on 14.07.2025. According to Kotagiri SI Sunil, the youth, identified as Mekala Hanumandlu (30) of Vallabhapur village, consumed pesticide around 6 pm on 13.07.2025 as he could not bear the burden of debts. The family members and locals who noticed him rushed him to the district headquarters hospital for treatment. Hanumandlu died on 14.07.2025 morning while undergoing treatment. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, said SI Sunil, based on the complaint of the deceased’s wife Mekala Gangamani.
