Srinivasa Rao. Telangana armed fighter Chakali (Chityala) Ailamma’s birth anniversary was celebrated by Y. Srinivasa Rao, Commandant of 17th Police Battalion at Sardapur, who paid tributes to the image of Chakali Ailamma. Speaking on this occasion, the Commandant praised Chakali Ailamma, a hero who bravely fought against the tyrannical Razakars and Deshmukhs of that time. The commandant said that her struggle was the beginning of Telangana’s armed struggle, and Chakali Ailamma struck fear in the hearts of Deshmukh and Razakars by showing her courage. He said that it is a pleasure to commemorate Chakali Ailamma, a famous hero of Telangana, on her birth anniversary.
