3 habitual house burglars and 1 receiver nabbed, stolen property 13 lakh recovered

NOB- Malkajgiri news: On 10-03-2026, the Commissioner’s Task Force (Charminar Zone) along with Keesara Police arrested three habitual house burglars and one receiver of stolen property involved in house burglaries and two wheeler thefts in the Uppal and Keesara police station limits of Malkajgiri Commissionerate.

Arrested accused:

  1. Munithani Amar Raj Kumar Reddy (28) – Habitual house burglar with 88 previous property offences.
  2. Abdul Lateef Khan (32) – Gang member.
  3. Gulam Hussain Khan (32) – Gang member.
  4. Gopalapuram Praneeth Chary (24) – Goldsmith who purchased stolen property.

Recovered property worth 13 lakhs approximately

  • 65 grams of gold ornaments
  • 400 grams of silver ornaments
  • 3 two wheelers (Pulsar NS 200, CB Twister, Suzuki Burgman)
  • 7 mobile phones

Case details:

After being released on bail in January 2026, habitual offender Amar Raj Kumar Reddy formed a gang with two associates and resumed night house burglaries and vehicle thefts in Uppal and Keesara areas. Acting on a tip off and technical investigation, Task Force and Keesara Police apprehended the accused, who confessed to selling the stolen gold and silver ornaments to goldsmith Praneeth Chary. The police recovered the stolen property and arrested the receiver. Police also executed four long pending Non-Bailable Warrants (NBWs) against the main accused. The accused have been sent for judicial remand.
