
NOB- Bharat news: The central government has given another big shock to Pakistani citizens living in India. The center has warned that if Pakistani citizens do not leave the country by the deadline, they will be sent to jail. Moreover, they will be fined Rs 3 lakh.According to the Immigration and Foreigners Act 2025, which came into force on April 4th 2025, Pakistani citizens who are in India after the deadline expires can be sentenced to three years in jail or a fine of Rs 3 lakh or both. Pakistani citizens on medical visas must leave India by April 29th 2025.It is known that the center has ordered Pakistani nationals to leave India. A deadline has also been set for this. Those who do not comply with these rules can be arrested, prosecuted, imprisoned for up to three years or fined up to Rs 3 lakh or both.On April 22nd 2025, 26 people were killed in an attack by Pakistan-linked terrorists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. Most of them were tourists. This terrorist attack shocked the entire country. Immediately, the Indian government took every measure. It imposed strict sanctions on Pakistan.The Center ordered Pakistani citizens living in India to leave the country immediately. It also set a deadline for this. In the wake of the terrorist attack, the Central Government issued a notice to Pakistani nationals saying, “Leave India.”Those holding SAARC visas were ordered to leave the country by April 26th 2025. Pakistani nationals holding medical visas will have to leave the country by April 29th 2025. The 12 categories of visas that are due to leave the country include visa on arrival, business, film, journalist, transit, conference, mountaineering, student, visitor, group tourist, pilgrim and group pilgrim visas.Home Minister Amit Shah has directed all state governments to identify Pakistani citizens already residing in the states and send them back to their country.
