5 year struggle for BC bhavan construction achieves success

NOB-Khammam news: The tireless efforts of Maddisetti Samuel, who has been fighting for the construction of a BC Bhavan (Backward Classes community building) since 2020, have finally borne fruit. As part of his efforts to meet with officials and transform the issue into a public movement, a “Chalo Khammam” program was organized, and on 05.01.2026, he met with the District Collector. Based on a letter given by National BC Commission member Tallochari in 2020, Kalluru RDO Suryanarayana and the Sathupalli Tahsildar jointly surveyed and allocated five guntas of government land in Survey Number 184/P within the Sathupalli Ayyagaripeta revenue limits. The revenue officials, after identifying the vacant land, reported the matter to the District Collector through the Kalluru Sub-Collector’s office. On this occasion, during the Grievance Day held in Khammam, all the documents related to the construction of the BC Bhavan were submitted to the District Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) on behalf of the NCP party NDA grand alliance, and the matter was brought to the attention of the Collector. Responding to this, the officials instructed that the land be allocated to the BC Corporation and that they should undertake the building construction arrangements. They assured that the land would be handed over to the BC Corporation and that the construction work would be initiated by them. It was announced that the five year long struggle has successfully concluded on 05.01.2026. On this occasion, Maddisetti Samuel expressed his gratitude to each and every person who cooperated, including the Sathupalli revenue officials, Kalluru RDO, Sub-Collector, District Collector, and the local MLA Palagani Srinivas Goud, Puttaparthi Haribabu, Edula Ravi, Banothu Seenu Naik, Konte Krishna, Macha Giri, Sunitha, and others participated in this program said Maddisetti Samuel NCP Party – NDA Alliance, Telangana State NYC President, Andhra Pradesh State In-charge.
