NOB- Madhya Pradesh news: In the state of Madhya Pradesh, an illiterate man raped seven young tribal girls. He committed this atrocity by trusting the young women by talking to a voice changing app (as female voice). Finally he got caught by the police as his sin ripened. Brajesh Kushwaha from Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh state is a former mill worker. He hatches a huge plan against the innocent tribal college students living in his area. He used a voice morphing app to change his voice to a female college teacher and talk to them on a cell phone. He made them to believe that he would give a scholarship, if they come to a desolate area for this, he would send a person there. He would pick them up on a two-wheeler and take them to teacher’s home. As soon as they got on the bike, he would take them to the nearby forest and sexually assault them. He raped seven young women.
The rape victims told the police that the accused used to wear a helmet to hide his face when he went to meet young women. But they explained that he always had gloves on his hands. Based on this clue, the police finally nabbed Kushwaha. During the investigation, the police found that he was walking around wearing gloves as his hands were burnt while working in a rolling mill in Maharashtra. Three other accused who helped him were also arrested. On the other hand, the Sidhi district administration bulldozed his house. District IG Mahendra Sikarvar said that an investigation was conducted based on a complaint filed by a victim and the accused was arrested. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has taken the incident seriously. A 9-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been ordered to be constituted to investigate whether there are any other victims. With this, a SIT was formed under the leadership of a woman DSP. On the other hand, Cyber Cell has alerted people to be vigilant about misuse of voice changing apps.
