NOB_Hanumakonda / Kazipet: A sensational murder was reported in Diesel Colony under Kazipet Police Station limits.

A 40-year-old woman, identified as Udayashree, was found murdered in a pool of blood at Balaji Nagar.

According to police, her 20-year-old son Dorababu is suspected to have killed her. Locals said the mother and son had frequent quarrels as the son suspected her of having an extra-marital affair. He had allegedly warned her several times.

On Thursday morning, an argument broke out again on the terrace of their house, during which the son allegedly attacked his mother leading to her death on the spot.

Kazipet police reached the spot, examined the scene and shifted the body to MGM Hospital, Warangal for post-mortem. A case has been registered and investigation is on. Police are searching for the accused and questioning family members.

Tension prevailed in Diesel Colony following the incident.
