NOB_Bibipet : Former MPTC Korivi Neeraja’s husband Korivi Narasimhulu has demanded that the government establish a mini bus stand at Bibipet mandal headquarters to provide better transport facilities to passengers.

In a press note released on Wednesday, he said a large number of buses ply via Bibipet to Dubbaka, Kamareddy, Siddipet, Sircilla, Ramayampet and other areas, and hundreds of passengers commute daily from various villages in the mandal.

He urged to modernize the previously constructed bus stand and provide separate platform and number for each bus. He said systematic halting of buses will reduce inconvenience to students, women, senior citizens and other passengers.

Considering the transport importance of Bibipet, the government, officials and public representatives should take special initiative, he said. He appealed to leaders of all political parties to cooperate for the development of Bibipet beyond party lines

He demanded immediate sanction of funds for the mini bus stand and warned of agitation on behalf of the public if the issue is not resolved.
