NOB_Bibipet: Demanding immediate road widening in Bibipet mandal headquarters, social worker Korivi Narsimlu Mudiraj (husband of former MPTC Korivi Neeraja) said commuters are facing severe hardship due to increasing traffic and damaged roads.

After inspecting the road condition on Thursday at 11.30 am, he said gravel stones on the road and lack of space to give way have increased accident risk.

He demanded that the stretch from Daba Bungalow to HP Petrol Bunk be developed as a four lane road with a central divider and street lighting, and that the bridge on the route be repaired.

Stating Bibipet is a remote mandal, he urged the government to sanction special funds for its development. He warned that if the issue is neglected, a large-scale agitation will be launched on behalf of the public during the upcoming elections.
