NOB – Hyderabad News: Another tragic incident took place in Hyderabad. There has been a disturbance in the construction of Bairamalguda flyover which was being constructed on LBnagar Sagar Ring Road. During the construction, the flyover suddenly collapsed. This flyover is being constructed from LB Nagar Sagar Ring Road to LB Nagar Chowrastha. The ramp for vehicles to board the flyover from Bairamal Guda side collapsed. A slab being constructed between pillar to pillar collapsed. Ten workers who were working on the slab were injured in this incident and they were rushed to a nearby private hospital. Officials say that the accident happened in the middle of the night and a major accident was averted.
On the information of the locals, the police immediately reached the spot and started rescue operations. The injured were taken to hospital in 108 ambulance. Doctors are currently treating the injured. A team of engineers will reach the spot and investigate the reasons behind the collapse of the flyover on 21.06.2023. Is it because of poor quality construction? Or are there other reasons? It will be decided by a team of engineering experts. With this incident, the locals were suddenly shocked in the middle of the night. Officials have reached the scene and are investigating.

It seems that the condition of three of the injured is critical. All the injured are said to be laborers from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. It is reported that the accident took place while the mixer manufacturing lorry was taking reverse. It is said that the accident happened due to the negligence of the staff. GHMC Commissioner Lokesh Kumar reached the spot and inspected it. He said that the cause of the collapse of the flyover is being investigated and the details will be revealed soon. He said that strict action will be taken against those responsible for this.

LB Nagar MLA Devi Reddy Sudhir Reddy inspected the incident site. He said that he will investigate the incident of the flyover collapse with the higher authorities and whoever is guilty will be punished severely. He made it clear that he is talking about getting better treatment in the hospital for the injured. He promised to ensure that the victims get help from the government. Earlier there was an accident in Panjagutta flyover in the city. This is said to be the second incident after that incident
