NOB- Kerala news: India’s first AI Iris teacher has arrived. For the first time in the country, Kerala created history by teaching lessons with an AI teacher. This AI teacher can answer even complex questions. AI robots seem to do all the work. Every company is focusing more on AI technology. Now AI tech based human robots are coming in schools too. Schools are using AI technology to impart quality education to students. Recently, an AI teacher appeared in a school in Kerala. AI has brought a teacher to a school in Thiruvananthapuram. Kerala created history as the state that introduced the first humanoid robot teacher in the country. However, Maker Labs has developed this new AI teacher in collaboration with Edutech. It is also named as ‘Iris’.
This humanoid robot is giving lessons to the students just like humans. It is also giving answers to the questions asked by the students. This iris teacher will provide extracurricular activities in schools. 2021 as part of the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) project initiated by NITI Aayog, Kaduail Thangal Charitable Trust introduced an AI teacher in KTCT Higher Secondary School. Kochi-based Maker Labs tested how an AI teacher teaches lessons. This AI teacher is not only teaching the students in Indian traditional wear but also giving answers to the queries regarding the syllabus. Can speak all three languages fluently. This humanoid robot uses the most advanced technology especially the automated teaching tools. To see, Iris’s teacher is speaking in a lady’s voice. Everyone is surprised by how the teachers teach the students in the schools. Any questions asked by the students are answered immediately. Also giving an explanation. Shaking hands to the students. This Iris teacher robot also has wheels on the bottom of its legs to walk. Can go directly to students and talk to them. The arrival of this AI teacher marks a significant change in Kerala’s education sector. Iris is trained to make the lessons understandable to the students.
