NOB- Delhi news: Venkaiah Naidu made key comments on government free schemes and party defections. Speaking at a program on 23.04.2024, he declared that he is against freebies. He said that some parties are making arbitrary promises, it is not wrong to give free education and medical care to the people but it is not correct to give freebies that empty the government treasures. Talking about party defections he said that it has recently become a trend for political leaders to join another party after winning on the symbol of one party. Leaders who want to change parties can resign from their posts and join any party. He said that it is wrong to leave the party and criticize the leaders without resigning from the post. They want to strengthen the anti-defection law. He called upon the people to reject those who speak vulgarly and are corrupt.
