NOB- Manthani news: District Collector Koya Sri Harsha said that the landless people who are losing their lands in the construction of the national highway should be given proper compensation based on their land regularities. District Collector Koya Sri Harsha participated in the land given people’s meeting in Puttapaka village in Manthani mandal on 10.05.2025. Speaking on the occasion, District Collector Koya Sri Harsha said that the farmers who gave their lands for the construction of the Warangal-Mancherial Greenfield Highway should be given proper compensation based on their land qualifications. The Collector said that the land given people have submitted applications stating that they have not received proper compensation for the wells, motor, pipeline, fruit trees, forest trees etc. on the lands provided by the farmers. The Collector instructed the officials to examine each application submitted by the persons at the field level and prepare proposals showing the correct value for the structures on the lands where land acquisition is being carried out based on the qualifications and submit them. Steps will be taken to provide compensation to the persons who are losing their lands for each structure on the land as per the government rules, the Collector said, and proposals will be sent to the National Highways Agency as per the report submitted by the officials and compensation will be provided to the displaced persons. The District Collector was accompanied by RDO Suresh, District Forest Officer Shivayya, R&BEE Bhav Singh, Horticulture District Officer Jaganmohan Reddy, Taha Sildar Kumaraswamy, concerned officials, and others.
