NOB-Hyderabad news: The cabinet has approved the establishment of three more agricultural colleges in the state. It has given the green signal to start them in the joint Nalgonda and Nizamabad districts, which currently do not have agricultural colleges, as well as in Vikarabad district from this academic year. The cabinet has decided to sanction Rs. 124 crore for each college and appoint 180 teaching and non-teaching staff. Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao expressed happiness over the sanction of the three new colleges. The college will be established on 100 acres in Magdumnagar (Huzurnagar) of Suryapet district. Since this is assigned land, a total of Rs. 22 lakh per acre will be paid for its acquisition. An agricultural college will be established on 65 acres of government land adjacent to the national highway in Appaipalli (Kodangal) of Vikarabad district. The college will be established on 80 acres of land adjacent to the national highway between Suddapalli and Nadilli villages near Dichpalli (Nizamabad).
