NOB-Moinabad news: Following a shooting incident, police have busted a drug party taking place at a farmhouse in Moinabad, near Hyderabad. Eight individuals were arrested, and both cocaine and a revolver were seized during a raid conducted by the ‘Eagle Team.’ Tension prevailed in the outskirts of Moinabad, near Hyderabad, after police registered a case following allegations that a drug party was being held at a farmhouse on 14.03.2026 night. Officials stated that special enforcement teams swiftly launched an operation after receiving information that shots had been fired from the premises. According to officials, the farmhouse is believed to belong to a former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). The Eagle Team raided the location immediately upon receiving intelligence that a drug party was underway. During the operation, it is alleged that several youths attempted to obstruct the officers and created a chaotic scene. The police took eight individuals, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, into custody. During the subsequent search, officials seized suspected cocaine and a revolver from the premises. Investigating officers stated that some individuals at the party had fired shots, an act that triggered panic in the area. Following this incident, personnel from the Special Operations Team were also dispatched to the scene to assist with the investigation. Police suspect that a number of influential individuals including prominent politicians and VIPs may have been present at this gathering. Unconfirmed reports suggest that a sitting MLA has also been taken into custody for questioning. Authorities are currently verifying the identities of those involved and examining the seized materials.
