
NOB-Tirupati news: On 21.03.2026 morning, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State, Nara Chandrababu Naidu accompanied by his wife, Smt. Bhuvaneswari his son and Minister, Lokesh and his grandson, Chi. Nara Devaansh visited Tirumala to offer prayers to Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy on the occasion of his grandson’s birthday. The Chief Minister entered the temple premises through the Vaikuntam Queue Complex. Upon reaching the Mahadwaram (main entrance), the temple priests extended a traditional ceremonial welcome (Istikafal) to him. After offering his obeisance at the Dhwajasthambham (flagstaff), he proceeded to have Darshan of Lord Srivaru. Subsequently, he offered prayers to Sri Vakula Mata then, performing the temple Pradakshina (circumambulation), he visited and offered prayers at the shrines of Vimana Venkateswara Swamy, Sabera, Bhashyakarlu, and Yoga Narasimha Swamy, before depositing his offerings in the Hundi. Following his Darshan of Lord Srivaru, a sacred silk garment (Sesha Vastram) of the Lord was presented to the Chief Minister. Thereafter, inside the Ranganayakula Mandapam, Vedic scholars performed Vedashirvachanam (Vedic blessings). On this occasion, TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, Executive Officer (EO) Muddada Ravichandra, and Additional EO C.H. Venkaiah Chowdary presented the Chief Minister with the Lord’s Theertha Prasadam, a portrait of the deity, the Panchangam (almanac) for the Parabhava Nama Samvatsaram, a diary, a calendar, incense sticks, and Panchagavya products. Several TTD Board members, public representatives, state and district officials, TTD Joint Executive Officers Veerabrahmam and Dr. Sarath, CVSO Murali Krishna, Temple Deputy Executive Officer Lokanatham, and other officials participated in this program.
