
NOB-Ziaguda news: The accused, Abdul Rasheed (73 years old), was found to be manufacturing samosas in an extremely unsanitary environment utilizing rotten eggs and oil that had been repeatedly reused thereby posing a serious threat to public health. The H-FAST (Hyderabad Food Adulteration Surveillance Team), a unit of the Hyderabad City Police Task Force, in coordination with the Kulsumpura Police, conducted a surprise raid on an illegal food manufacturing unit in Ziaguda and subsequently seized the premises. Acting on credible intelligence, on the evening of March 20, 2026, at approximately 18:00 hours, the H-FAST team led by Task Force Inspector Venkatesh along with the local Kulsumpura Police and a Food Safety Officer (FSO), conducted inspections at premises bearing House Number 13-4-582/A/B/30, located opposite SBA Garden in Ziaguda. During these inspections, it was discovered that the said manufacturing unit was operating without any valid FSSAI license, trade license, or fire safety permits.

- Spoiled Eggs: 500
- Used Cooking Oil: 5 kg
- Prepared Food Items: Egg Samosas (350), Sweet Corn Samosas (600), Onion Samosas (1000)
- Raw Materials: Maida (50 kg), Salt (4 bags), Samosa Wrappers (2000), Unhygienic Sweet Corn (10 kg)
- Machinery: Fryer, Onion Slicer, and Cooking Utensils.
All items were seized, and the accused was taken into custody. A case has been registered at the Kulsumpura Police Station, and the investigation is currently underway. The Hyderabad City Police (H-FAST & Task Force) maintains constant vigilance over food adulteration and illegal manufacturing units.
