NOB-Hyderabad news: Software engineer Sunitha, who was living in Green City Colony, was brutally murdered by her ex-husband Mahesh. It seems that Mahesh committed this murder on the grounds that she had divorced him and remarried. Mahesh is working abroad as a software engineer. Sunitha and Mahesh were married 5 years ago. However, due to differences between the two, Sunitha legally divorced him a few years ago and married another man and is living in Green City Colony. Unable to digest Sunitha’s second marriage, Mahesh harbored a grudge against her. He decided to end it by any means. He entered Sunitha’s residence with two sharp knives and a petrol can. He created havoc by threatening to douse anyone who came in the way with petrol and set them on fire. Later, Mahesh entered the house and attacked Sunitha indiscriminately with knives. Even after she collapsed, he did not let go and hit her on the head with a flower pot that was there. Due to this, Sunitha bled profusely and died on the spot. The Vanasthalipuram police, who immediately reached the spot after receiving information from the locals, inspected the scene. The accused Mahesh was taken into custody by the police and is being interrogated. The body was taken to the hospital for postmortem. The locals were in a state of panic as the murder took place in broad daylight in the colony. Full details about this incident are yet to be known.
