NOB-Bhimavaram news: A high ranking officer of the forest department was caught red handed while accepting a huge bribe in Bhimavaram, West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Suresh, who is working as a Bhimavaram Forest Section Officer, demanded a bribe of Rs. 4 lakh from the victim for a job. Based on the victim’s complaint, a team led by an ACB DSP conducted a well-planned raid. Suresh was taking cash from the victim in his office when the officials made a surprise attack and caught him. Rs. 4 lakh bribe money was seized from the accused. Currently, ACB officials are conducting searches at Suresh’s office and residence. More details are awaited in this regard. ACB officials warned on this occasion that no one will be spared if they indulge in corruption.
