NOB-Khammam District news: A tragedy struck on 21.02.2025 at Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Khammam district. A student named Degala Yoganandini (17), studying in Inter First Year, committed suicide by hanging herself.It is understood that she hanged herself in her hostel room. She was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, the doctors confirmed that she was already dead. Her hometown was identified as Etapaka village in Alluri district of AP. Her family members have been informed about this.Meanwhile, the reasons for the student’s suicide are yet to be known. Student groups, who came to know about the matter, staged a protest at the hospital.They demanded due justice for her family members. The police, who have registered a case on this incident, are investigating.
