NOB- Bowenpally news: The Bowenpally Police apprehended the prime accused in Cr. No. 665/2024 U/s 316(2), 318(4) BNS and seized Rs.4.05 Crore hawala cash being illegally transported. Based on credible information, the accused were intercepted within Addakal PS limits, Mahabubnagar, while travelling in a Hyundai Creta (MH 49 CL **96). Interrogation revealed their role in cheating the complainant of ₹50 Lakh in a cash–RTGS fraud (Aug 2024) and in transporting Rs.4.05 Crore of hawala money from Nagpur to Bengaluru. The entire amount was seized under panchanama and is under verification regarding source and ownership. Citizens are advised to avoid illegal cash, RTGS or easy-money schemes and promptly report any suspicious financial activity or hawala movements to the nearest Police Station.
