NOB-Shadnagar news: The agitation of the students of Nagar Kurnool Social Welfare Government Gurukul Degree College, which is being run on the outskirts of Shadnagar town in Rangareddy district, has led to tension. The students of this Gurukul Degree College, which is being run in a building at Kammadanam, raised their voices against the principal’s irregularities and harassment and staged a lightning dharna. Since it was 02.11.2025 Sunday, the students came out of the college building on the roads in large numbers. However, when the students reached the town square and were protesting, the police tried to forcefully detain the students to end the agitation. In this process, a female constable got into an altercation with the students. Meanwhile, the other students got angry after seeing a student being beaten up and grabbed the female constable by the hair and dragged her to the ground, asking if she would beat them. Everyone was stunned by this incident. The students protested, saying that if they come out on the road to demand justice, they will beat us. The students sternly warned the police that they would not spare anyone who has beaten someone. In this order, the police forcibly put some of the students in a police vehicle and left. Many difficulties were faced due to the lack of adequate number of female staff.
