NOB-Tirupati news: On 06.02.2026, the Municipal Commissioner N. Maurya, IAS held a review meeting with the engineering officials regarding the progress of the development works in the city. The officials explained the progress of the ongoing and planned works to the Commissioner. Speaking on this occasion, the Commissioner stated that work orders have been issued for priority works based on the problems reported by the public during the city tour and the requests received at the public grievance redressal forum. Commissioner instructed that priority should be given to the construction of CC roads, drainage canals, and repairs to existing canals, and other public utility works in the respective wards, and that these works should be completed quickly. It was directed that the officials to supervise the works effectively, coordinating with their staff, to ensure that the works are completed quickly and with quality, rather than simply carrying them out without proper oversight. It was also instructed to them to prepare plans for the works that are yet to be undertaken. Superintending Engineer Shyamsundar, Municipal Engineers Tulasi Kumar, Gomathi, DEs Mahesh, Raju, Madhu, Venkata Prasad, Lalitha, Shilpa, Ramana, and Technical Officer Rajani participated in this meeting.
