NOB- Rangareddy news: Shadnagar MLA and Chairman of State Government Sector Enterprises Veerlapalli Shankar said that the great warrior Chatrapati Veera Shivaji, who rose up as Rudranethra against the occult politics of that time and applied a blood tilak on the forehead of Bhart Maatha, will stand as an ideal for the youth. A statue of Chatrapati Shivaji was installed in Cherla Antireddyguda village of Nandigama mandal of Shadnagar constituency of Rangareddy district. The statue was unveiled on 23.02.2025 by local MLA Veerlapalli Shankar as the chief guest. Speaking at a program organized on this occasion, MLA Veerlapalli Shankar praised Chhatrapati Shivaji as a great and sovereign who single-handedly attacked and won the politics of the time. He advised the youth that some political parties are also using the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji, who fought for a social philosophy for a goal, are using his name for political selfishness. The MLA expressed his concern that as a Hindu devout, Chhatrapati loved and respected all communities and had a history of doing justice to everyone in history, he did not insult any community, and for self-respect, he attacked the kings of that time and established the Hindu empire, but some religious parties are conspiring and attaching him to a community. Shankar said that Chatrapati Shivaji belonged to everyone and his thoughts and aspirations were useful for all humanity. On this occasion, a grand unveiling ceremony of Veera Shivaji was held in the village with great pomp and show. MLA Shankar was felicitated by the villagers and women on a large scale.
