NOB-Sangareddy news: A tragic incident has taken place in Sangareddy district. An AR constable named Sandeep committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun at the Mahbub Sagar lake embankment, creating a stir locally. Sandeep, a resident of Kalher, Narayankhed constituency, has been working at Sangareddy Two Town Police Station for the past one year. It is initially believed that there were personal reasons for Constable Sandeep’s suicide. However, one major suspicion regarding this suicide has come to light. Local sources and the police suspect that Sandeep is addicted to online games and has taken this drastic decision due to losing a lot of money in the process. It is believed that he committed suicide using the gun he had after losing money through online betting. Immediately after the incident, the rural police received information and reached the scene. The police examined the body and sent it for postmortem. Sangareddy SP Paritosh Pankaj said that a case has been registered and a full investigation will be conducted into the cause of death. He said that the details of the case will be revealed soon. Meanwhile just a week ago a constable also committed suicide in Kamareddy. Jeevan Reddy, who was working as a constable in the district police office, committed suicide by pouring petrol on himself and setting himself on fire.
