NOB- Warangal news: The Warangal Police Commissioner instructed the officers to respond immediately to Dial 100 complaints. The monthly crime review meeting was held at the Kakatiya University conference hall. In this review meeting, which was attended by police officers from the Warangal Commissionerate, the Police Commissioner first reviewed the cases that were pending for a long time and asked the police station officials about the reasons for the pendency and advised the police officers on the steps to be taken by the officers to resolve the cases. On this occasion, the Police Commissioner said that while dealing strictly with rowdy sheeters in every police station, they should keep a close eye on their movements and status. If the rowdy sheeters have not been local for some time, they should inform the police of the area where they currently reside. History sheets should be opened on the accused involved in thefts and those involved in selling ganja. In cyber crimes, not only the victims should be returned the money lost, but also the station officials should work hard to catch the accused. All the steps to be taken in relation to the POCSO case should be completed within the deadline. An SI level officer should definitely perform his duties as a patrol officer at night. Like the traffic police, station officials should take steps to call the traffic fines pending in their jurisdiction and pay the fine. The recovery rate in theft cases should be increased. Special units should be set up to catch the accused involved in thefts and the police officials should formulate a plan to arrest the accused wherever they are in the country. The CP advised the police officers not to be lax in arresting the accused in the cases, to create awareness among the public about the use of CCTV cameras in the police station area with the participation of the public to control crimes, especially the police officers should conduct investigations in a manner that ensures strict punishment to the accused, to have details available on the current status of people with past criminal records in the police station area, and to register traffic enforcement cases with the traffic police and the law and order police. To create a pleasant atmosphere in the police stations, along with planting trees, the station surroundings should be kept clean, and for this, Shramadanam should be done in the police station every Friday. East Zone and West Zone DCP Rajamahendra Nayak, DCP Ankit Kumar, Warangal, Jangaon ASP Chetannithin, Additional DCPs Ravi, Prabhakar Rao, Balaswamy, along with ACPs, Inspectors, RIs, and SIs participated in this meeting.
